(HONOLULU, January 16, 2009)—UHA, Hawaii’s third-largest commercial health insurer, has promoted Linda Tidmore and Doreen Nakamura to supervisory roles.
Ms. Linda Tidmore has been promoted as the Risk Management Supervisor. She will analyze data for proposals and rate renewals, maintain various group utilization reports, and assist in the annual rate filing with the Insurance Division. Tidmore joined UHA in May 2006, and was previously an Underwriter where she prepared quotes for prospective clients and assisted in the rate renewal process. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Florida.
Doreen Nakamura, RN, has been promoted to the position of Health Care Services Nurse Administrator. As a liaison for the Health Care Services department, she facilitates clinical issues and provides case management services to UHA members and oversight of case management services. Nakamura received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Hawaii and is a member of the Case Management Society of America – Hawaii Chapter. She is married with two daughters.
