Customer Services Supervisor
General Description of Position
- Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of the Customer Services call center primarily focusing on the following:

Utilization Nurse Administrator
General Description of Position
- Ensure that Utilization Management nurses are oriented to URAC HUM standards and guidelines; UHA Utilization Management policy & procedure; and other department duties and responsibilities that fall within the scope of nursing
- Work with Director of Health Care Services Operations, Medical Director/CMO, Care Management Nurse Administrator and other departments to address aggregate issues with clinical implications for the purpose of improving processes, quality, benefits, or care to members
- Provide nursing oversight of clinical projects and programs identified in the annual Business Plan that are assigned to the department
- Provide oversight of nurse participation in quality improvement projects, special programs, and other projects
- Provide nursing oversight to assure the medical necessity, appropriateness, and efficiency of the use of health care services through the utilization review process, prior authorization, concurrent review, and retrospective review
- Ensure quality, efficient nursing operations through appropriate resource management, workflow processes, direction, guidance, and leadership
